2004 - COSIRO announced the release of its premier drive-test
data analysis software MEDAS
Version 2.0, and are demonstrating its new feature enhancements at 3GSM
World Congress in Cannes. MEDAS supports the full range of radio network
analysis including GSM, GPRS, UMTS, and CW, and provides uncompromising
capabilities for both service and network analysis and optimization.
Its powerful database architecture utilizes a comprehensive geographic
data-warehouse approach, which provides MEDAS
with unrivalled performance and user comfort with enhanced data analysis
capabilities that will enable operators to more efficiently improve the
‘quality of service’. The powerful server (MEDAS
NET) version allows users to run complex data analysis on an entire nationwide
of data-pool measurements instead of the time consuming approach of running
small samples. The open and platform independent architecture enables
easy integration with other enterprise applications such as radio network
planning tools. COSIRO is working closely with major measurement system
vendors and can demonstrate numerous interfaces.
