October 6th 2003- COSIRO announced the release of the anticipated FUN Java radio network planning tool. This new release will combine all the benefits of Java cross-platform capability with the performance of the FUN product suite. This release has a new state-of-the-art intuitive GUI and will enable users to undertake UMTS planning including comprehensive network object management and field strength analysis. The UMTS module will soon be followed by other FUN Java products.  

October 1st 2003 - COSIRO recently announced that FUN UMTS has been selected by ONE for 3G radio network planning and optimization. FUN UMTS will compliment the existing FUN GSM deployment and provide a single seamlessly integrated multi-technology network planning platform for ONE’s 2 / 2.5 / 3G network.
