They provide software components for COSIRO’s MEDAS drive test and analysis system.

GenaWare provides enterprise class GIS client-server solutions for desktop spatial analysis and publishing. All major geospatial data types including ESRI SHP, MapInfo, and Oracle Spatial can be accessed natively and used on-the-fly. The solutions offer both open architecture, and comprehensive interface capabilities for integration requirements and data warehousing. COSIRO uses components of the Genaware-developed GIS-system Genamap/GenaWorld Server in the COSIRO software framework and in FUN wireless network planning products.

Rohde & Schwarz largely provide wireless test and measurement equipment for the telecommunications market in over 70 countries worldwide. Their high quality products, market position and know-how have been important in supporting COSIRO’s recent development of the MEDAS Lite, Lite+, and MEDAS Net drive test data analysis product. The COSIRO – Rohde & Schwartz relationship spans a number of years with COSIRO providing custom developments to Rohde & Schwarz. Developments have included database middleware and license management database systems.

Transaction Software specializes in providing high-performance database software, and develops, markets, and implements professional database solutions. COSIRO selected Transbase® Hypercube from the Transbase® product suite on the basis of its high performance. The Transbase® database kernel, in combination with the COSIRO-developed extension of the kernel, forms the storage engine of the MEDAS drive-test data and analysis tool. COSIRO has also selected the Transbase® technology as an optional RDBMS for the FUN wireless network planning products.
