RasDB is a comprehensive raster database system for central data storage, providing multiple and fast data access methods to a unified data repository. The open architecture provides a better foundation for integration with other 3rd party systems and provides unparalleled data extensibility.

Storage of all raster data in a single format for multiple resolutions and multiple cartographic projections enables fast and secure company-wide access to all raster information. Retrieval of data is optimised for arbitrary resolution or scale. Different cartographic projections can be retrieved from a single raster data source.
