RasDB unifies and accelerates the storage of raster image information like digital terrain models, thematic maps, satellite and aerial imagery, scanned maps and rasterized digital documents.
Storage of all raster data in a single format for multiple
resolutions and multiple cartographic projections enables fast and secure
company wide access to all raster information. Retrieval of data is optimized
for arbitarary resolution or scale. Different cartographic projections
can be retrieved from a single raster data source.
